PEACE
Definition:
Peace is the absence of war or other hostilities. Further, it is an agreement or a treaty to end hostilities. It can also be seen as freedom from quarrels and disagreement; harmonious relations, such as roommates living in peace with each other. Finally, peace is inner contentment; serenity: peace of mind.
Brief Explanation:
Many clients coming for counseling are stressed and anxious…they lack peace. This can be caused by physical stress, emotional upheaval due to relational difficulties, wrong choices and sin. Helping the client find peace means to assist them to resolve problems that are causing the lack of peace. This can include changes in habits, stress reduction, resolving conflicts in relationships including with God, etc. Helping someone find peace in life is helping them experience the Kingdom of God as the Lord promised.
