RESURRECTION
Definition:
Resurrection is the act of rising from the dead or returning to life. It is the state of one who has returned to life. Specifically, in Christianity, it is the rising again of Jesus on the third day after the Crucifixion, and the rising again of the dead at the Last Judgment.
Brief Explanation:
Belief in the resurrection is a fundamental doctrine of the church. As Christian counselors, the topic of the resurrection usually only arises at the time of a death of a loved one. Being familiar with the scriptures relating to the resurrection, our blessed hope, will arm you for effective ministry.
